Skin Cancer: Recognition and Management
Skin Cancer is a CD-ROM
based program that aims to help students understand the risk factors,
prevention strategies, features, behaviours, identificaton, diagnosis
and management of the common forms of skin cancer.

This screen outlines the aims of the program and the particular skills it is attempting to instill in students using this package. |

Within the cases, students are required to select the features they see within a particular skin cancer. This screen shows the features available to choose from as well as the image window where students can also access a closer view of the skin cancer or a full screen image of the skin cancer and it's close up view. |

Before making a final descision of what cancer the student recognises within the case, students can compare the skin cancer presented in the case with a range of examples held within the program's database. |

After diagnosing the features and selecting the correct diagnosis, students are required to create a management plan. This screen shows the final management choices selected as well as the an expert opinion on how this case should be managed. |
