Breathe with Ease
Breathe with Ease is a fully integrated self-directed learning program that discusses and illustrates the clinical and pathopsychological principles of asthma.
It presents a number of case studies, through which the student examines:
- causes and risk factors for asthma in children and adults
- patterns and severity of asthma cases
- environmental, psychosocial and epidemiological characteristics of asthma
- early identification and diagnosis of asthma
- development of asthma management plans
- effective use of medication delivery devices.
Curriculum Usage
Breathe with Ease is currently used in semesters 3 and 8 of the medical curriculum.
